Our Vision: All of Jesus for all the world

We are members of the Christian & Missionary Alliance (C&MA)

Our Mission

We are a community of people who are forgiven and loved by Jesus. In response: We love God with heart (worship) and hands (service); We love one another through friendship and encouragement; and we love others by showing and telling them of God’s love.

Lead Pastor

The heart of God comes through when Pastor Todd teaches. He strives to provide biblical lessons with practical applications for people in all walks and stages of life and faith. His past experience in recovery ministry through Celebrate Recovery, as a teaching pastor, and in music have equipped him to reach people with God’s love in unique ways. He enjoys helping people discover and develop their gifts. Todd and his wife, Amanda, have been married since 1996 and have two, young-adult sons. Amanda leads the worship ministry at Northwood. They moved to a small farm between Blaine and Birch Bay in the summer of 2021. You’ll often hear Todd say that his desire for Northwood is ‘healthy growth’ – not just for the church as a whole, but for individuals. We hope you will come grow with us!

Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable his judgments, and his paths beyond tracing out! Who has known the mind of the Lord? Or who has been his counselor? Who has ever given to God, that God should repay them? For from him and through him and for him are all things. To him be the glory forever! Amen.

Youth Pastor: Steve Vint

Steve and Nikki plus their 5 littles moved to Washington in January of 2025. They followed the Spirit’s leading to reach abrahamschildren.org and get plugged in to a local church – and we are so thankful for the energy they bring to Northwood! Their adult daughter, Zoe, has also moved to the area and helps Steve with Youth on Monday nights. Steve’s sense of humor, heart for seeking God, and care for those on the fringes comes through when he teaches and in his leadership at Tuesday morning prayer. The Vints are a blessing to know!
